Black Gold Rush. Excellent pin brightness, adjusts to light conditions very well, light but still beefy where it counts. Want one myself but not in the budget.

The black gold rush has a huge following on here but I have the trophy ridge cypher and love it.

Not familiar with either sight, however my standard rule on bow sights/rests is all metal construction.

I suggest you find both sights at your local retailer and attempt individual pin adjustments. First move the pin one way and then try to return it to its previous location.

I like the 2nd and 3rd axis adjustment feature on the TruGlow but have found individual pin adjustment on previous models “cumbersome” at best.

Black Gold is another fine maker of archery sights but the model you have selected does not have the leveling features of the TruGlow.

The leveling features are critical if you are attempting maximum accuracy and you will be shooting on hilly land or from a tree stand.

I would suggest you continue to save your shekels and then buy a Spot Hogg Wrapped Hunter. You will spend more than twice the coin but you will never need another sight again…unless you want a Hogg Father.

It is a bitter pill to swallow but I have found budgets should be a secondary consideration when buying good sights. Trust me, you will be buying another sight in two years if you don’t go with the Spot Hogg. Then you will have spent over the cost of the Hogg AND pulled a little more of your hair out along the way. I don’t know about you but I don’t have too much excess to yank any more!

I just got an iQ 4 pin.... Yeah I went with the hype, but I have to say it took very little to install and sight in. I am getting way better groups and also further out...it has certainly help and there has my recommendation
