    I've used SanDisk, PNY and SONY. Format them each time I change one out. Prefer Sandisk.

    Scandisk but mostly PNY. I have never formatted or reformatted a card. I pull them out of the package they come in and stick them in the cam. I have never had a problem and they are getting used in tasco, bushnell, hunten, stealth and covert cameras. I have twice as many cards as I do cameras and grab from the pile when I need them. I don't keep the cards mark for only a certain camera.

    Not saying formatting or reformatting is a waste of time... I have just never done it.
