Haha I viewed this as the only real negative to golf.... Long careers are for the birds. Stack money quickly and just go enjoy life!
Fine, I'll take football...just to be different. I'm way too small a guy to have played past college 5'10", 190# and didn't play in high school...our school was too small to have a team, lol. I played baseball as a pitcher, love playing baseball but I loved playing football every chance I got, just unofficially in the backyard. Would have preferred quarterback or running back, maybe wide receiver.
I would say nascar driver. I like going for Sunday drives and I can turn left. Seems like a pretty natural fit for me. I would also like to thank the pepsi, us postal service, nike, microsoft, levis jeans team for making this post possible. Golf would also be great.
Baseball first, golf second. Although backup QB in the NFL would be a sweet job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Football because I love the sport. But, to save my body I'd also be interested in golf if I was any good. I played back in middle school/early high school but gave it up because I didn't have the patience. Auto racing is another good one I see mentioned above, I think that would be awesome. I haven't seen it mentioned yet but what about a professional hunter??? Hello??
MLB easy... Just because I was unable to play it through High School because of elbow/throwing issues.
Baseball would be nice but I don't think I could deal with the travel. Golf would be your best bet. Sign a huge endorsement deal then show up to a couple events every year. Spend the rest of the time hunting.
A lot of retired people golf so a professional golfer might as well get paid for golfing instead of retiring from it.
Most people wouldn't consider golf to be work You could retire from golf whenever you want or just play a few tournaments a year
Maybe its time to form the National lawn darts and beer drinking league. It still keeps that element of danger and excitement and adds beer. WIN WIN!
I suppose if I wanted to be a pro athlete I'd have to be one that did something I enjoyed, so I would have to go with a sponsored track athlete. There's no huge fame or giant contracts but it's what I'd like. If I was picking a sport based on "cool" factor, I'd be a pro hockey player since it's the sport I most like to watch.
