Android pones have a shorter brace height. Crappy covers and tons of problems. I used to be on their pro-staff. The stories I could tell. Customer service blows too. Get a flip phone. I know what your going to say, A mechanical will eventually fail and wont open. Thats BS. They always open.

I have the iPhone 5 and it is a little too aggressive. I don't want to get the 7 because it is too slow to shoot elk at 96 yards. A lot of people have the 6 in our local QDMA chapter but someone told me the ozonics don't re activate on the 6 when you put it in the dryer so I went with the 5.

Back in the old days we didn't have cellphones to take hunting. we just hunted and enjoyed nature.

I am thinking of taking my IPAD hunting as well. I am wondering if anyone knows of any screw i pad holders that work well in a tree stand. I am thinking Netflix will make those all day sits much better.

It's really hard to find a good left handed phone. Nobody seems to stock them.

My wife is right handed but left eye dominant. She also struggles with using a left handed phone but she is getting better at it

I have the iphone 6, and I believe it takes the very best photos and video. Haven't yet seen it's equal in these two areas. Pics are an important part of both my hunting, and fishing.

Just make sure your service provider works good where you will be hunting. I think just about any of the phones out now will do. Samsung cameras on their phones are amazing!

Make sure it has an app that can connect to your trail cam, thataway it will alert you when the deer walks up. And you won't have to miss a single second of your favorite hunting show!
However, the really old ones that overheat? yeah y'all know what I'm talking about, those double as handwarmers!!

No one can say they don't bring there phone to the tree....if they don't then the 1st thing they do after they drop a nice buck is call someone. The safety aspect of having a phone in the tree with u is crucial. It could save your life if u fall and break both legs. Bring the phone, put it on silent. It's a neccassary item in my bag

No phone is the best phone lol last thing I would want is an unexpected alarm or something going off as a buck of a lifetime comes into range

All the big timers carry the Samsung Note in black with an Otterbox case. Get you one.
