Left the freaking oven on???? It's 93 degrees with 80% humidity here. I even think about going outside and I start sweating! Went and bought an air conditioner to put in the garage to keep the dogs cooled off.

Yeah, this summer has been a touch warm. Supposed to be 91 tomorrow, and I'll be out building concrete forms, digging, and shoveling stone:(

It's actually pretty nice here in GA today. A nice 87 with only 59% humidity

It's so hot I saw two trees fighting over a dog! Supposed to be 110 heat index here in NW Mo and my grass has grown 7 inches in 3 days. I have to get it mowed before the storms come in tonight.

You have air conditioning for the dogs???

Heck I don't even have air conditioning for me. In a bit I'm going to go out and work in the garden. :)

The heat index here just hit 123 degrees. If I wanted this kind of stuff, I'd go to Iraq!

Christine - I'm in the process of transferring the attached garage into a man cave. I had already closed it in but had not put in AC and heat. So, I picked up a window AC and hooked it up. I put the dogs in the garcave for the day.

Gotcha. My dog is an outside dog with access to the garage. Her fan croaked so I am feeling a bit bad for her. Other than panting a lot, she doesn't seem bothered by the warmth.

Of course, the heat index is only 101 here. (still only 84 degrees in the house) Neener... neener. ;)

If it gets up to 123, I'm going to need to hose down my chickens. (and the dog and probably myself)

Just went out for about 30 minutes to do some hand excavating for my patio before we bring in the front end loader tomorrow. Really bad idea. It looks like I just jumped into a pool.

    Dang tootin' Spanky!

I have the garcave down to 80 degrees which is more than cool enough for the guard dog and the 'yote dog.

It's not the humidity that's bad, It's the dewpoint that's bad. Humidity Is 66% here, dewpoint Is 75 degree's which Is freaking terrible!!! As of right now were In a severe thunderstorm warning that's suppose to be producing quarter size hail and 60 mph winds In the next 30 minutes or so. I figured It was coming with the dewpoints as bad as they are.

"it's not so much the heat it's the humidity that'll kill you"

Work sucked today. It's hotter in a 12' hole repairing a sewer, the steel "stop box" cooks ya like an egg!

I may have to head over to IA and hang out with your dogs.

It's almost warm in my house now.

Ah whatever. It's 101 here with a 72* dewpoint. It's downright nasty. And, the warehouse was nearly 120* today. Flat out raunchy. I'm gonna hibernate for the summer.
