Do we have more options? The colors of the leaves look good, but I hate the black fading or whatever on the second one. It looks like something my Grandma would have in her house.
You have some annoying Cyan fringing in the trees to your left and in the lower right in the color version. What was used to edit that? For that reason, I say go BW, since it hides those things, plus the contrast is more evident and goes well with the quote. You COULD do a combo black and white, with a color mask like I did for Rob a few years back: Granted, now looking back on it, I've gotten much better, and this may not be the best example, but you get the idea.
That's pretty cool, but looks not very natural to me. Looks like Rob and his buck were pasted to a different photo. Maybe it's just me. Not sure what program is being used, a girl that works for me is playing around with a bunch of different pics.
Agreed it wasn't my best work. Here's one that's a bit more subtle (it was a quick edit, so it's not perfect, but I kept some color throughout). I still say B&W, though.
