I am going to be purchasing a new treestand and am wondering which one would be best for me. M60U or the M100U. want comfort but also lightweight. thanks in advance for your opinions.

Well only you can answer what would be best for you. I don't have either, but I know they are decent stands. The M100u is 2 pounds lighter but has a different style seat. The M60u is slightly heavier with the flat seat. I think it comes down to more of a personal preference. If I had to get one or the other and had to pick one. I probably would get the M100u for it being slightly lighter. I think they both would be pretty comfortable.

I'd personally skip the 100U and go to the 150 if you like that seat style. The leveling feature is a must in my opinion. The M60 is a great stand. I don't recommend leaving any Millennium stands in the woods for any length of time or your seat will most likely be chewed up from critters.

I thought the 100u had the level lock on it *** well. And yes I am planning on carrying this in and out of the trees with me. think I could keep cost per set down by just buying climbing sticks and receiver bracket. I was worried about the straps on the side of the seat on the 100u and weather they would rub on my clothing and make noise. also saw some reviews stated the M100u's seat was a noisy is you moved much in it.

Of the two, I would go with the M60. The seat height of 17" with the M100 is to low for me. I am looking at going with a Muddy for next year because they come with a height of 24" over the somewhat standard 21".

I have two M100s. I like them but they don't have any type of leveling feature. The seat is super comfy. I haven't noticed any noise. However I would agree the seat is to low. I have a heck of a time getting to a standing position especially if the tree is leaning back at all do to its recliner like design.

Well since the m100 doesn't have the leveling capability, and the m150 I think is heavier than I am looking for that leaves me with the m60u. Sounds like a winner. Anyone use the m60u that has any feedback?

I also agree the seat is too low on the 100u. The 100U is by far the most comfortable stand I have for sitting but also the hardest stand I have to stand up from the seated position in. I like to shoot standing so I rarely use this stand because of the low seat height. It is light and easy to hang but for me the low seat height makes this stand almost unusable for bow hunting. When I use this stand I just don’t sit, I will end up standing the whole hunt.

I have both m100u and the m150, M150 has a dedicated tree i leave in in. Its super comfy but to big and heavy to carry in and out everyday. I have about 6 brackets set up for my m100u that i take down daily when i am thru hunting, its not to big or heavy not much of a issue to carry in and out daily.

I have the M25, M50, M100 and M100U. I leave my M100, M25 and M50 in the trees all year long. I have never had any criiter mess with the seat on them so far. I love Millenium stands and as other say they are the Most Comfortable stands on the market. I have never had an issue with the seat height on the M100 or the M100U. I am 5'10 so I don't know if it affects taller or shorter people. But I can stand with no issue at all. I only only bow hunt and I have sat in my M100 for 10 hours before. I have a foot rest on mine. I only stand when I see deer coming in and I am preparing to shoot. I stay seated the majority of my hunts because these stands are So Comfortable. I don't think you will be disappointed with any of the stands you do chose from Millenium. :tu:

I have an M100 and love it. Im afraid of heights and its the only hang on I really feel safe, mostly because I can sit down and be super comfortable and calm my chicken side down a bit. When Im in something like an M60, I freak out lol. Im 5' 9'' and fat, and have no issues standing in my M100. I think taller people tend to but even my buddy who is over 6' would take something like an M100 over anything else. I have not upgraded to any with the leveling system yet. Think I will stick with M100s and will but a few of their ladder stands for less then perfect trees. The M150s are to heavy to pack in and their 21' ladder stand cost less then buying a M150 and a climbing stick lol. I don't think you can go wrong with any millennium, they are amazing and currently the only stands I have interest in using.
