Go to your local pro shop and shoot as many bows as you can. See which one you like best, and IMO you shouldn't stick to only Mathews if you have yet to shoot them. Try some other brands too! You'll be surprised at which one you like best. Good luck with picking out your new rig!

I personally like the chill better than the chill R or the creed. But don't pay any attention to what I like, go shoot them all and see which one you like.

Shoot the Mission line also. Don't have your mind set on mathews. Your a kid and your draw length is changing. I'd look at a bow with modules if I were you.

The ChillR is one bad mofo, but like others have said, go try them all out!

The single cam bows are draw length specific, so if you want to change length you have to change the cam out. It's not very difficult and most shops can do it in a couple of minutes.

The dual cam bows (Monster Chill) have modules than can be changed without the need for a press. You can do it on your own at home with an allen wrench.

Before you make any decisions try to shoot the bows and see which one feels best in your hand. Paper specs mean very little when determining which bow you should buy. Two bows can measure the exact same on paper but feel very different when they're shot.

Like Justin said. Shoot as many bows as you can and don't have the mid set that you need a mathews. I went I for a motive 6 and walked out with a mission ballistic

Just ordered the creed xs today. I will say I shot both and liked both. I feel the creed is best for me because I am a tree stand hunter and I prefer having a smaller bow rather than a bow that is much larger and just a bit faster. Shoot both and make your pick.

    Depends on the season
I shot both, bought the Creed, no complaints, BUT that may not be the best choice for you.

You really do need to shoot both and get a " feel " for what fits you and feels good. Not trying to talk you out of a Mathews but shoot a buch of different bows, you will know when to choose.

    Have fun and good luck!

Try the Mission bows. The blaze is very similar to the Chill and about half the cost. Plus they are made by Mathews!

If it going to be awhile before you can afford your new bow get out there and start shooting now! By the time you can afford it you will have a good idea of what you want! Don't limit yourself to two bows shoot as many as you can and try some variety! Long ATA short ATA, solo cams, dual cams!! Try them all it won't hurt and you might be surprised by which bow chooses you!! Good luck!

Bowtech and Hoyt's flagship bows are the exact same amount as Mathews flagship bows, except for the Hoyt Carbon Spyder. This post ins't entirely true.

    Bowtech RPM 360- MSRP $999
Mathews Creed XS - MSRP $999
    Bowtech Carbon Overdrive- MSRP- $999
    Mathews Chill R- MSRP- $999
    Hoyt Faktor 30 and 34- MSRP- $899 to $949
Hoyt Carbon Spyder- $1399 (couldn't find msrp on this one, just went with cheapest price)

I regret not shooting the Bowtech. I like the Chill R as the best shooter in the 2014 line up, but I bought the Creed XS because I think it is the best bow for my needs.
