Ok guys, I know this topic has been beaten to the ground probably but I've been doing a lot of research. I'm trying to make a decision on my first camera purchase. Give me the ins and outs of black flash, low glow, flash, etc. Best trigger speed and recovery time?? What's your camera of choice and why? I'll mostly be using it over a feeder but still want quick trigger time and recovery time just in case I wanna watch a trail. I would like good day and night pics. Thoughts?

    Thanks,

I'd say go to chasingame.com for everything you need to make that choice...I myself am getting into homebrews but recommend spypoint and covert(though I have an edge that is on its way back right now) for commercial cams. There are so many differences between each model even within the same company that you can't just sum it up for someone. I have 2 spypoint ir-5(will sell one), 1 covert CA3.0 and 1 edge(getting checked out but took awesome pics), 3 WGI w6x that have great range and trigger but suspect on durability if follow other wgi lines example. I here good and bad about many other brands and models and they all have various strengths and weaknesses as say good pics on the feeder but slow trigger, or fast trigger and grainy pics, it depends on what you want it for. They have reviews at chasingame and a forum as well with many sample pics to look at and explanations and gripes about performance. The game camera's are addicting...I'm just warning you.
