I currently own a sg550 and a moultrie i40. I absolutely love the sg550. They both get blurry pics at night when the ir is on. I love the videos that the sg550 produces as well.

I'm looking for a camera that has:
    Long battery life
    High quality video
    sharp night pics
    Long lasting quality
    Video with sound is interesting

Have read reviews and narrowed it down to a few brands.

    Another scoutguard, newer model
    Ltl acorn
    Uway
    Dlc covert

    Any input is greatly appreciated!

Also the new m80 cameras are off interest, but seem to have more issues.

I'd recommend covert out of those you listed for better quality photos from what I've seen. Also if in colder area check out Spypoint as the IR-5s I have perform better than my Covert Edge8.1tl below 20deg(this from setting on same tree together for comparison test). -and as I always do I recommend you check out Chasingame.com reviews and forum...all about gamecams and lots of sample pics to look at.

Here is a camera I am seriously considering. The Stealthcam Archers Choice. Best trigger time of any Stealthcam ever and does video with audio.

    Blessings.......Pastorjim

DLC Covert will be putting out some great new cameras in March or so.

How much are you willing to spend ? ?

With long battery life listed I would say Stealthcam is out.

Yeah I'm thinking around 200 for a quality camera. Would like to spend my tax return on a reconyx, but paranoia would take over. Also, my wife would probably kill me.

I have not seen trophy cam videos. Are they higher quality? Do they capture sound?

I would be looking into the DLC Covert or Spypoint.

Looking at the catalog of new cameras I don't see any DLC Coverts that have video with audio. I hope this isn't a deal breaker for you they make excellent cameras !

Has anyone used the new Cuddeback Attack IR? I have 3 Wildgame Innovation cameras and have not been real impressed with the pictures or trigger speed, battery life does not seem to be that great either.

The DLC Covert Reveal (white flash) is a great camera and 1 of my favorites I love color pics at night. The new MP6 is also a great camera for IR both are well under the $200.

Been looking at the covert special ops. looks like it may be worth the extra 50 bucks, I'm really interested in the MMS feature. Using gophone, this is not a feature to pay for monthly, which is also nice. Can't find any reviews on it though. Any thoughts?

As far as great pics go my spypoint ir6 takes great pics as does have great battery life.. but no audio Also the dlc also is some great looking pics and long life. Both have great trigger times but i dont know about there customer serv because the cams have never failed. And that means alot in my book.

I have a few cams with audio but i cant say that it matter's too much deer dont talk alot. Maybe nice for turkeys this spring.

Just bought a trophy cam back flash. Used a bunch of gift cards left over from Christmas, stop it was almost free (****s sporting goods). Still interested in a Dlc covert. We'll see what everyone comes out with this year. I can always use another!

I agree with ebennett. The Bushnell Trophy Cams are great. If you are willing to spend $200.00 I would recommend the black LED trail camera
