I personally shoot a Mathews but some new lines of bows I am seeing such as bowtech just seem like they are ahead of Mathews. By no way am I saying Mathews bows are no good because I have been shooting them for 10 years but it appears other companies are ahead of the game. Maybe I am wrong I don't know. Just looking for your opinions on which company is leading the way with a hunting bow. Please add why you believe this as well. Thanks!

IMO...and again my opion...lol. I think Elite and Obsession has got the smooth draw cycle bows figured out. Another plus is both have lifetime warranty no if you bought it used. If you like Single cam bows....Mathews are it. I think they all make good bows, just what fits you as a shooter. For me, I prefer PSE, Hoyt, Elite.

Hard to beat a Hoyt in any category. Unless you put emphasis on a speed.

I've shot a Heli-M the last few years. If I had to pick one though it would be Elite.

yeah, the Helim is the last Mathews I liked. Don't care for the newer bows at all.

I believe everyone is different on this and for good reason.....i shoot mathews because they just feel like they were made for me....to me my creed xs is the best bow I have ever owned....i shot a bunch of brands but for me mathews has always come out on top....my buddy bought a bowtech rpm 360 and raves about it....he would argue the same point for bowtech.....I can't stand it....to each their own I guess

I've always liked Hoyt, still do. I think Hoyt and Mathews are still on top but most of the other companies are doing some pretty interesting things and some pretty impressive stuff. I feel Hoyt is the closest one to being well rounded but I think the others are right on their heels.

I just bought a Strother SX Rush, shot one last year and absolutley loved it. Speed, easy draw tack driver. Last season bought a PSE Stinger 3G, time to step up my game, I cant wait to hunt with my Strother! I`ll send some pics and let you guys know how it handles!!! Any one else hunt with a Strother? GROMMEL..

Leading the way... How so? There are several bow companies that have great products. I wouldn't say there is a leader. Of those companies figure out which one that has the best customer service and go with them. Personally I am tired of waiting at least 6 weeks on almost everything from Mathews.....

I got a friend who is too. One thing I will say for PSE and Hoyt...their very fast if you have an issue. At least in my experience. I'm a PSE & Hoyt guy cause of the customer service, plus I love their bows. I am going with Elite on my next bow though. Love the E32

Very true I have heard of some waits on Mathews being over that time frame as well.

I've maintained for a long time now that Mathews is mostly a lot of hype....even after owning 3 of them. I fell for the hype too but when I realized that they were nothing special, I shopped for a new bow with an open mind.....Mathews wasn't even in the top 5. The APA Mamba M7 blew me away....tunes like a dream and wicked fast.

Mathews is the biggest bow company in the world, Because they sell a lot of bows. So if they sell a lot of bow, Doesn't that mean there the best?
