Man I've been having issues shootn for the past few weeks. The spring on my fall away rest broke. I replaced it asap, and that's when the problems started. So my shooting became inconsistent. At 40 yds I'd put everything in the kill zone, move up to 20 and everything was low. Drove me nuts. Finally went to my pro shop to do some paper tuning, and that's when the proshop owner figured it out. Gotta hand it to Chris over at Obsession Archery, the guy knows everything. He's sittin there helping me paper tune, and decides to take the bow to his bench. He said something's just not right. Sure enough, he figures out that my fall away, with then new spring, isn't coming up all the way and the arrow is pointed downward. He get's it workn like it should and I'm back on track. Thank goodness, season opens this Sat! and I wouldn't want to miss the big one & have to wear that Hack, I mean Hoyt shirt at the 2011 gtg, right Raceway.
umm, "didn't want to hurt the hungover Hoyt shooter's feelings, so I let him win" excuse should work.
