Watched a small six point feed for a while this morning. Waiting on his daddy to come out now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last day for buck muzzleloader (early season) in md. Out with my father today. Let's see what happens!
That's a good idea. Everybody sigh and pout. It worked for Zarr! Expect nice shooter to come within 30 minutes!
Well haven't seen much a couple squirrels and a big ol coon!!! Hoping the activity picks up soon!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got held over at work last night so I skipped the morning hunt. Will be heading out this afternoon though.
Calm morning. Had the joy of listening to some turkeys come off of roost. Other than that, it's been a very slow morning. Also heard a few gunshots. Never knew you could reload a muzzleloader that fast. Wind is supposed to be 9-10 mph. It's more like .9 mph.
Cold front starting to come in now. Winds went from S to now coming in from the north. Not sure hanging a stand is going to happen today.
Okay guys. I could use some advice. I shot at a doe this morning and missed got down to try to find the arrow and I couldn't find it anywhere. What would you guys to keep looking or give up?
It's youth and senior rifle today. Probably not someone with a muzzleloader and I think all small game is open too.
How confident are you that you missed? I wouldn't waste effort for arrow only. Couple years ago I misjudged yardage in early November. Coupd not find areow but knew it dropped way short. Shot a doe in January late firearm from same stand and when I was dressing her out, looked over and there was that arrow sticking up 10 feet away.
Your an arrow owner, you have a responsibility. You don't just look around for a little bit and give up. You get down and find that fricken arrow.
