Lol! I figured Vito (Matt) would have one already, the guy does rock with his fishing!! Come on Justin!! ;) Anyhow last Friday I bought a 2006 Starcraft 16.6 foot boat with a 115 hp Mercury 4 stroke Fuel Injected. Prior to this I fished out of my 1977 16 foot Crestliner with a 25 hp Evinrude motor. The boat motor worked pretty damn good but has been acting up on me the last 2 years every once In a while. It's kinda tippy too, specially with a 4 year old daughter wondering around In It. I thought piss on It, I'm finally going to buy a comfortable and safer boat.

This evening I took It out for the 1st time. Caught 5 Walleye's, one short of our limit here In Minnesota. I also caught one Catfish In which I also kept. They don't taste to bad as long as you trim the belly fat off and don't take the meat that's close to the skin. What a great day of fishing, specially on breaking the boat In!! 3 of the Walleye's were 15 Inchers, one was 16 and the other was 21 3/4 Inches. My 5 year old black lab bear couldn't resist, he wanted his picture taken too. I was surprised at what the 21 3/4 Inch Walleye weighed. It weighed out at 3lbs. Great shape It was In! Fish fry at the Schultz's tomorrow evening with some great friends. Got 100 Bluegill Sunfish getting cooked up tomorrow night. The Walleye's I'm keeping for myself. :D

Thats an awesome boat you picked up there, believe me when I say you will be glad you went with a full wind shield! not a bad set up at all... and bringing home a stringer of walleyes on her first trip out is always a bonus!

Nice catch Steve. Boat looks like it would be stable on rough waters. We have been filling the freezer with fish for a few months also.

Sweet boat and outing Shultzy! Good job on breaking it in with a little fish slime. My neighbors have a boat that is almost identical to your new one, it's a really sweet setup.......I'm sure you are going to love that boat for a long time.

    Nice rides!

This is the luxurious watercraft we fish out of on inland lakes most of the time. I can't quite figure why I have caught a muskie since the season reopened.

Awesome boat Schultzy, great job on eyes too. I'm headed out in the morning to pound em. Been a great spring for walleye so far.

Nice boat, but those walleye are too small to keep here in Michigan:)

Good looking boat and fish Steve! Enjoy it!

Not surprising that Michigan would protect male and not female fish. That's about as bright as allowing spearing of muskies. At minimum there should be slot sizes on all waters that protect spawning females.

You sir speak way too much common sense for the DNR to comprehend...;) Seems like a no brainer doesn't it? Especially since the best eaters are between 14" and 18".
