I have attached a map to see where some of you might put a stand? I'm new to this property and I may be cheating but I am just curious. Any advice would help. I'm also very new to the topo map world of deer hunting. Thanks.

Sorry buddy, but that maps is lacking in detail needed to better determine a good stop.

@selfbros, i got this map from mytopo.com,what should i be looking for in a map? I figured that having both the aerial and the topo it would be more detailed. Should i just stick to the topo?
@bruce, that's great. I have actually seen some tracks on your first suggestion. Come to think of it, my son shot his very first doe towards the right end of your circle(1st option) on youth weekend. Thanks for the tips. This is really helping my cause.

i always just use google maps. Find it on there and save the picture. Then you can really see whats going on with the property

The saddles. Deer like saddles when crossing ridges. I would also look for a trail of sorts where the yellow line is. rp2a.jpg

I'm hoping to do more scouting tomorrow. I'll check that out. Awesome.
