I recently (two weeks ago) got in on a new hunting lease in Perry County, TN. It's 1,200 acres and there are only seven of us. I'm attaching a satellite view and a terrain view. If the images come up, where would you start hunting on this property? I've been studying these maps for a couple of weeks now and have a couple of ideas, but I'm sure it will ultimately depend on what some scouting reveals. Any suggestions?

I'd start with the areas just above the big creek bottom. Specially if there are crops planted in the bottom.

A few places jumped out to me without ever stepping foot on the land. The red dot farthest to the SE is a direct connect funnel to another patch of woods. The rest of the dots are also funnels (assuming the ravines on the countour are as deep as they look). I hunt very hilly terrain with deep ravines seperating ridges and hills. Without a doubt, some of my best hunting spots are either at the top or bottom of these deep ravines because it is where the ravine shallows out and makes for a good crossing. Out of the places I marked, I like the dot farthest east because it is at the top of a ravine connecting one big chunk of woods to another. Good luck with your new toy.
