I have a ground blind i want to set up for archery deer hunting. I have a grass field that is over a 100yrds long by 40yrds wide with a wood line or should i try to put the blind up in the woods more. Any help or tips for the best place to put a ground blind would be great thanks. Open to any ideas.

i'd recommend setting it up on the edge of the woods. but not sticking out to much. also, you should cover it with natural settings. i.e. branches, grass, dead hookers... what ever is lying around in your woods.

We don't have much grass or many branches, but the hookers are a plenty... why didn't I think of that

i try to find the most natural area between two trees, dead falls ,or what ever appears to be a natural surrounding, plant that puppy , and use natural ground coverage as a finishing cover, key is to blend into whats there , dosent do any good to be standing in the middle of the road waiting for a car to hit you, they will see u every time !ps i think i will try that hooker part this year, and see if tit werks :woot:
