If anyone has seen/heard from Ferg lately? I've heard he's been preparing for this yr's GTG triathlalon. 7 Mag beware!
dude, i called him, text him, emailed him.... and then repeated like five times over.... only way to get a hold of him now is his facebook... and i dont have an account.
I talked to him a few weeks ago. Said he was gonna keep running til he don't feel like runnin no more.
I talked to him a few weeks ago too. I guess he's been training for a triathlon and working part time at a bike shop. Not sure what else he's up to beyond that. I'm sure he'll be back eventually.
He was at my bday party that sat night you clowns were in Milwaukee. Yes he indeed finished a triatholon this past weekend. He said you guys suck!
Fergus Gump: That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run. So I ran to the end of the road. And when I got there, I thought maybe I'd run to the end of town. And when I got there, I thought maybe I'd just run across Greenbow County. And I figured, since I run this far, maybe I'd just run across the great state of Alabama. And that's what I did. I ran clear across Alabama. For no particular reason I just kept on going. I ran clear to the ocean. And when I got there, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well turn around, just keep on going. When I got to another ocean, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well just turn back, keep right on going. Now I'm gonna run at the triathalon at the gtg camp out! :D
UPDATE! stop the presses, I actually talked to our beloved missing Fergus this afternoon. He's alive and well and prepping up for the gtg triathalon, especially the swimming event. Momighty, I think you better look out, he's lean & mean and looking to settle a score. Run Fergus! Run!
oh man all the training may have been for nuttin. Momightymight may not be in attendence this year. He said that the other Mo is getting married and it will be up to him weather they make it or not.
No way! Can't be! The Mo Bow boys have got to show up. I won't be much of a Triathalon with just Fergus in it, bu then again, he was by himself last yr! :D
Well, Ferg was heard from again, but only momentarily the other day. I heard he's been swimming alot for a repeat performance of last yr.
Alright, yes I am still alive. And yes I have been busy getting in shape. I did complete my first triathlon a few weeks back and have done several running events since then. As for swimming at the g2g that is not going to happen this year! But I will be in attendance. I will actually be packing up and hitting the road back saturday evening cuz I have another triathlon sunday morning.
Good luck!!! The best thing that you can do is just enjoy the experience. Don't worry about your times and relax during transitions. It is going to be a blast and sure you will be totally hooked on triathlons after it is over. I have 3 more planned for this year and already planning on doing my first half ironman next year! Let me know how you do!
