There are some resourceful folks here, so I'm hoping someone can help me out.

My mom started watching Sons of Anarchy and she is now to season six, but can only find it online where she has to pay to watch. Is there a website or something where a person can watch newer TV shows without a fee?

I've tried to find black sails and true detective online with no luck. I get the "cannot be viewed in your country" all the time.

When you go to those sites they ask you to download their player, or browser. Is that safe?

I also use Project Free TV. We often have to travel 3-4 hours to my dads house and my 2 year old can get quite bored being cooped up in the car if we don't align our trip with her nap time. She only reads so many books before getting antsy and rather than wasting money on an additional piece of technology like a portable DVD player we resorted to apps on the tablet. Unfortunately we quickly realized that many kids apps with videos long enough to keep her occupied don't work unless they have internet (which ran up my cell data usage tethering). When I found an app that I could use to download videos directly to the tablet storage from project free tv, it was a game changer. Now I'm watching shows that I never would have given a chance just to get me through this winter nonsense until I can be outside every day.

And to answer the question about downloading their player, never download any player from any site, always click close or find the small "x" button, everything is basically a popup. The video should play fine in the browser as is.
