Those of you that shoot on a local or national level, where do you feel you stack up to the competition.

Are you one of the better shooters in your area?

Have you had any success at the national level?

Lets hear it guys, nows a good time to brag on yourselves ;)

When I was still shooting wheels 20 years ago and when we still had an archery club we had a league going on In the winter months. Our 4 man team usually finished In the top 3 every year with a few 1st places here and there. There was usually 15 four man teams. The last few years I shot league I was probably In the top 15 with my average (low 270's). My set up never changed from hunting.

Now I shoot a recurve and I haven't a clue on how I match up with other traditional shooters around here. Every year we've been going to the same traditional shoot on Fathers Day and last year I placed In the top 10 In the recurve class. I believe there was 70 some shooters In my class. The top 3 In each class qualify for a regional traditional shoot somewhere else, not sure where though. Maybe some year I'll find out.

I shoot IBO. My best finishes are 2006, 6th state of Ohio, 2007 16th IBO World indoor championship. Have shot for national triple crown 3 times, and shot for world championship 4 times. Still shooting local level. And plan on making a run in 2011 for that 1st National, and World Championship.

I think I finished somewhere in the bottom half of my field when I shot at the ASA/ProAm.

There were locusts, floods, plagues and other excuses. Not too mention I was unprepared, out of my league and just suck in general. :D

I'm typically taller and thinner most.
