Just curious as to where and how everyone stores their gear. Anyone made a storage area at all. I use those Rubbermaid totes and store everything in my basement. It's unfinished and very dry. I would love to build a small outdoor shed storage area though. I figure garage smells too much with car exhaust and all.
I keep my stuff in bins too. I have two double unattached garages. 1 holds all the stuff that has gas engines, the other is for my bow stuff and other things.
I keep mine in a cheap storage bin from wal mart in my attic....I see the scent lock storage bins at academy and gander mountain for 50$ but I can't bring myself to buy one
I have mine in bins that I store in my closet. When I build my house, I will have a room in my "Man Cave" dediated to storing all my gear.
We have a "hunting room" in our finished basement. Can't call it man cave as I may just have more "gear" than he does! All hunting clothes are stored in Rubbermaid bins. Odds and ends hunting stuff is on a shelving unit or closet.
I have my deer and predator clothes in bins. My Waterfowl waders and fishing waders hanging along with all other hunting clothes in a 12X12 room in basement. I have a dehumidifier going to take some of the must smell out that basements get. Put a lock on the door so don't have to worry about my kids friends wondering. Works great for me.
I have a Man Closet, it is too small to call it a man cave I can hangout in. I store clothing and other scent-sensitive gear in rubbermaid tubs. Eveything else is hung on hooks or on shelves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have large plastic bins in basement and also a smaller one in the truck so safety vest etc won't pick up scent en route.
I keep my clothes in large zip lock bags stored in plastic totes. Stored in a section of my basement. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
Right now in Plano air tight bins. They have an o-ring seal and no holes. They are in garage which isn't best space but I plan on building an ozone room this year.
Water tight and air tight tubs with the cinch locking type lids, not afraid to keep them in the garage at all...but I do not allow running motors to idle in the garage ever, back out and do that. Wife has listened mostly Haha!
Stands and so on in our barn, clothes in tubs in the basement and all the small gear in a large built in cupboard in the basement.
My buddy built an ozone closet last year, the thing is awesome. I just store my gear in tubs and treat them with an ozone generator
I leave my vest harness and 3d bug camo in the garage where nary a gas vehicle is ever parked, nor a can of gas. Nothing in there but bushels of corn, hunt gear, and freezers for meat. Everything else is in rubbermaid totes (as so many others have said).
