Hanging behind the bedroom door in a soft case. When we get all of our things moved into the new house it'll go in the spare room closet. We bought FIL a brand new crossbow two years ago. That thing has sat in the garage all seasons, hot and cold. Then he moved it into the house when my husband complained about it. Sat it on a table infront of a window. Needless to say, I don't think he cares much about it.
Unless I'm shooting or hunting mine is always in the Plano case. In my office in the summer & in the backseat of my truck during the season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I keep mine in a case in the basement almost all the time. My house isn't air conditioned, so thats the coolest place it can go.
In its hard case under my bed! Small house with 3 teenage daughters and a wife! I`m lucky i`m in the house!!!!!!!!!!
I have 3 hooks on the wall in "my room". My bow, my backup bow, and my wife's bow all hang on the wall. I shoot all year, even during the season, so I like yo have easy access to them.
Mine are hanging on the wall, or stacked on the floor, or strapped to the ATV or in the bed of the truck, or in the truck, on the boat, or in the shed.... meh. I don't beat on 'em but I sure as heck don't baby them either.
Mine stays in a hard case in my closest. I never leave it in a car unless it is traveling. If I go visit someone I bring my bow in so it doesn't sit out in a hot car. Most people just accept it else I don't visit. silly I know but..
"In the basement with the dehumidifier running all Summer on a hook from the ceiling so I can look at it every single time I am in the basement." Yep...this exactly...and rangefinder on a shelf right beside it!
With the amount of money we spend on equipment, I dont consider it babying something when im giving special care. I will never leave my bow outside in the heat/cold or in the bed of a truck, or stacked on a floor for that matter
In a case on top of a hope chest out side my bed room. I wax the strings after every practice. Like every one else says cost to much to just throw it some where.
I store mine in a Plano weather tight case all the time when not in use. Sits next to my bins of hunting gear on shelving in basement. I also have a dehumidifier going all year. Like a lot of people have said, we all have a lot of money invested.
