Early Season (Sept)- evenings on a food patterned deer (acorns, beans, ect)
Mid Season (Oct)- Anywhere close to bedding
Rut (Late Oct - Nov) - Pinch points and between bedding, also creek bottoms. All day sits or crucial, killed some nice deer 12-2
Late Season (Dec) - Food sources again

So.... pretty much ALL season is my favorite

First morning and evening of a drastic cold front in the first three weeks of November. Mature bucks get on their feet for this!

First week of the season for bucks that I have patterned. (evening hunt)

Early-mid November for bucks I had never seen before cruising and chasing. (whenever the heck I can get out!!)

Third week of October. The landowner doesn't want me out there two weeks prior to gun season so late October I am pretty much done. I like it best with some fresh snow and about 20 degrees with very light wind. Mornings are best in my book.

Anytime is good. Being 15 anytime I can go hunting is great. My favorite time is after the leaves fall and you have a lot more visibility in the woods.

My favorite time is late fall or early winter. All the leaves are down it's nice and crisp. Maybe an occasional light snow. it's just a beautiful time to be out and enjoying God's creation.

I enjoy every opportunity I step into the woods. We have to deal with so much from day to day in today's society that when I go in the woods, it's like the entire world just disappears. A cold fall morning sitting in a tree over looking an oak flat listening to crows or a warm early season with a cool breeze blowing sitting in a pop up watching a doe munch on a muscadine vine. That to me is the closest thing to heaven you can possibly have and the best time to hunt personally I think is everyday you can set your boots in the woods during the season.

My favorite time to hunt is anytime I am in the stand. I love being in the stand pre-rut as it offers the best opportunity at an unsuspecting, occupied buck. Early season while hunting patterned deer is always good too!
