    I would say 3rd week in October - the end of the season. Skeeters are gone!

    I like morning hunts best and my favorite time of the season is opening day through the middle of November. I don't do too much bowhunting after gun season unless I haven't filled a tag.

    Same here , last season the spots I was hunting weren't good for mornings. Bought a house in the fall,and ive actually got what looks like what is gonna be a good morning spot no more than 70yds or so from the house

    That's sweet, can't beat 70 yards to the stand. I don't know what it is about mornings I love so much, I think it's because I love sitting in the stand in the dark and watching/hearing the day come to life.

    yea,that`ll be nice! I`ve got at least one decent buck(for this area)cruising through. I`m hoping to gain access to another property which should offer another good morning spot. I`ll be trying to get as much time as I can in here til nov, then its off to ohio for a couple weeks on some all-day sits, cant wait

    I really like the last week or 2 of Oct. as the pre rut activity is going good . Them bucks are extremely susceptible to calls then and all of them are still willing to come in .

    First 3 weeks of season (Oct. 25-Mid Nov.) then the gun hunters start. Then last 2 weeks of Jan. til Feb 10. Our season was extended 10 days this year. Hope to see an increase in rut activity.

    Anytime in the woods is my favorite. You won't see or be able to kill anything if you are not there. Having said that, morning hunts from end of October through November can't be beat.

    Always see a ton of deer on Halloween. I prefer to hunt mornings just because I like slipping in before the deer come out rather than leaving when they are still in the field.

    Pretty much every time I can get in the woods. Just thinking this could be the hunt of a lifetime today. But I do love getting in the woods early and as the sun comes up watching the woods come alive. Nothing like it!!!!
