I still have no intention of getting cable or satellite to watch this show, but it sure didn't take long for A&E to realize that DD pays the bills for them and lines the pockets of the shareholders. On the CBS site, the left is now blaming Palin and the religious right for Robertson being taken off of suspension. It had nothing to do with either, it was the $$$.

 

It had everything to do with customer base and what they wanted. If they leave, so do the dollars.

Same can be said for the Robertson family, if they leave, so do the dollars.

A&E is a television network. Of course they were going to make a statement to show that Phil's comments do not represent that of the network. Image to the general public is a big deal to this type of organization not to mention that of the advertisers who support their programs. A&E was probably working closely with the Duck Dynasty people throughout the entire fake suspension.

 

All this weeks before a new season starts.... shocker
