The whole situation is crazy. They asked him a loaded question and he had the balls to give his honest answer. Phil is a very smart man, he had to know how this would play out. I strongly believe in our first and second amendment rights and think there is no question bleeding heart liberals and special interest groups get away with way more. I do not think he should have been suspended and I think A&E will suffer far worse for this than the Robertson's will. This country has gotten carried away with all of the PC BS and we need to toughen up and get thicker skin. We have to be careful though on using the first amendment and where do we draw the line, sexuality, race, religion...I don't know but we need to figure it out soon. I do not think Phil made his comment in a way to get this reaction, they treated this like Phil said I HATE people.I hope to see Phil back on Duck Dynasty just not on A&E.

DD is the top rated show on A&E. If they lose DD, how much commercial revenue are they going to lose? Betcha it is a pretty penny.

 

A&E has every right to sever ties with Phil R. But this really shows the double standard in society. The homos get butt hurt over something (get it, butt hurt) and they go for blood. They can say whatever they want about religious folk and have no worries about any form of retaliation. I hope the rest of the family leaves the show as a sign of support for the patriarch of the family.

 

I think so but contracts can be tricky. A&E might not let them out of it and it might cost DD guys a boat load to get out of it.

All they have to do is say a few things against homosexuality and they will be let out of there contract.

 

All they have to do is sit around every time A&E wants to film and talk about how A&E tried to break up the family and then hold a Bible Study and A&E will either back down or let them go.

 

Uuummm it was a joke. I have nothing in common with Phil at all other then we are white and trash. I don't duck hunt. I don't even watch their show. This white trash doesn't have millions, a TV show and GQ isn't beating down my door to find out what I think.
