He was in the field working with his neighbors. He did not experience any conflict with black people. What is offensive in that?

Growing up, I had a Asian neighbors. I never encountered anyone treating that family badly even though WWII and the Korean War were still recent. Does that mean that they did not experience discrimination and hate? No it does not, it only means that I did not personally witness it.

 

Look at the last sentence, that sums up his belief system.

They were Godly, they were happy. The 2 go hand in hand in his own view.

I took from that quote that they were all poor, wasn't much difference between (him)poor white trash and the black folks he worked with and was around. He made a statement about his life and people in it.

 

That is what you take from it.

But someone else could see that he was talking behalf of an entire race, and belittling their struggles.

The secretary at my old office was a black, lesbian, disabled, war veteran. She was untouchable

 

Just switched the radio over to hannity.(to see what he was saying about this situation) He said he has a "spy" in A&E and they said A&E is scared beyond belief.

Hannity is givng out their telephone number and they are getting flooded with calls.
