Are any of you guys using any specific products to do a cat bath with, etc.......before hunts when you can't shower?

The camp I'm hunting out of in the Adirondacks has no shower, and no running water. I can bring in a big 5 gallon jug of water and take a cat bath, but can't really shower with scent killer type stuff as I normally would.

Anyone using anything specific when in this situation?

I will take scent killer spray/wipes and and kind of give myself a sponge bath. Spray the scent killer onto the arm pits and crotch. Wipe down with the wipes, maybe spray more SK on my arms and legs and use the wipes after that also

Matt, I used to buy a product called Stealth Dust... you may be familiar with it. It's dry powder and you put it in a sock. What I did when I couldn't shower was to bring several full size towels that were wasched in scent free detergent and either take plain water or make a big huge jug of the home brew scent killer. Give yourself a towel bath and then use the stealth dust powder...

I never shower before my afternoon hunts during the week. I just give my whole body a good spray down, wipe the hands, pop in some gum-o-flauge (new for me this year), and I'm on my way. I've considered doing a towel down like Dubbya mentioned. I may have to try that his year.

i usually do a bar of d3 soap, wash rag and a bottle of water - that stealth dust looks like it would be a perfect follow up to that too

I do a lot of hunts where I can't get a shower and the water is waaaaayyyyy to cold or frozen to bathe in. I've found these Scent Shield Bath Towels to be the ticket. I throw one in my sleeping bag the night before so it's warm when I wake up. I wash down with it thoroughly and get dressed. I've gone for 10 days this way and never smelled my sweaty pits the entire time. One a day does the trick but I buy them by the case.

I got a pack of biodegradable scent free wipes that we used fro camping. They are way cheaper than the scent company wipes & work fine. I wipe down before spraying down.
