If you get winded or busted in a stand....how long til you'll hunt that stand again?

Had a short hunt this morning but got winded at about 7:45. She stayed within 30-40yds for about 15-20 but never would come back in.

Just wondering how long everyone waits until they would hunt that stand again?

If she stayed within 30-40 yards for 20 minutes I don't really think you spooked her all that bad.

Agree... if you were busted, a mature doe wouldn't hang around. How old was she? I have had young'uns, especially orphans and buttons hang around like that many times. I'd go right back.

Same thing happened to me yesterday morning. Had six different does out in front of me at 30 to 40 yards for about 30 min and one of them blew off and on a little. They all left the plot not really spooked but knew something was up. I went out last night to the same stand and saw 8 does and had 3 different 2 1/2 year olds walk by. 4 of the does were from the group of 6 from the morning. They didn't seem bothered at all.

She blew one time but that was it. She's a fairly mature doe from what I could tell.

well, i'm going back this afternoon.

    Thanks for the input.
