I have to disagree. Anytime now should be good. Especially starting this weekend and beyond. I put out some doe estrus on saturday just to see if I could get any action and I had 2 young bucks come in noses in the air. I used my Doe Estrus Can call too, I was surprised its already working. Hope to see more action this weekend and next! Good luck!

But YES, keeping your self scent free is the most important.

Estrous scent should be used when does are in estrous, or just a few days before they will be in estrous.

my experience is that Tinks 69 works anyplace any scent works. Never heard anyone bad mouth it, and I've seen it work personally, and in hard-hunted areas.

I keep myself scent free with Tinks Btech and Oxy Elim-A-Scent ozone generator between hunts. I use gloves when placing scent bombs with either Tinks #69, Tinks Magnetics (synthetic whitetail attractant) and Tinks Trophy Buck. Knowing how to use these products can greatly increase your chances at a deer.

For instance. I use Tinks Power Scrape and Power Scrape in the Scent Dripper to help get those bucks coming back to their scrapes more often and hopefully during the hunting hours when you will be there. I remain scent free going in to do so or check my cameras.

This time of year I use my Carrylite decoy (either with the antlers or not) and that will decide for me what scent I will use. Trophy buck when i am using my buck decoy or Tinks #69 with the doe decoy. Sometimes I decide to use both. I place the scent bomb upwind of the area I want my buck to stop. This also can be used to cover your scent if it is marginal. I have had it save my hunt a few times.

Good Luck and hope to hear that others also use scents to help them in their hunting adventures.

That's got nothing to do w/ how good it is. Tink's 69 has been around for 40years. The price wouldn't jump like that in 1 season w/o outside reasons.
That's Tink's passing on their added costs to us. Shows how much corn (feed for the captive deer) prices have risen.

    2008 corn avg. $4.00/bu
    Nov 2012 - $6.89/bu

I am in the minority I guess...I don't use any scents at all..... For the amount that's sold and used the actual success is abysmal....and for that matter in many instances where they appear to work who knows if the deer would have done the same thing in the absence of the product. I any event I waste my money on other things lol.
