When to stay in the stand all day

    If it's November I'll try and sit all day when I can. I've seen some of the biggest bucks around noon while in stand. You may not get a shot off but man is its exciting after you at least see one

    I have not had a place in the last several years that I would consider sitting all day. Just not feasible to see deer during mid day. This year is different, and I will sit all day beginning around Halloween or so....

    I know there are plenty of colder places that people on here hunt, but north of Buffalo after Thanksgiving has to be top ten

    Numb nose, numb toes. It can be brutal when you're trying to play the wind right

    No way i'd sit all day this early in the season, but weather permitting i plan on being in a stand saturday afternoon. i was reviewing trailcam pics from last season and realized that most of my early season daytime pics of bucks were clustered around the new moon (mid-Oct 2015).
