Never went shed hunting before but would love to this year. When should I hit the woods to do this in Central Florida?

At this Point the deer are in velvet and are beginning to regrow they antlers for next season so i would say better then than never. Up in PA I usually try to start in the early spring. Good Luck.

Just a bit late for shedding. Rodents should have them all chewed up by now

Yep between the rodents and all the taller foliage this time of year shed hunting is tough! I usually let my trail cams tell me when to start, but it can be anywhere from Feb-march usually before my deer drop bone. That is when I start walkin.

you're either 3-4 months too late or 9 months early.

Ha ha. Looks like I misses the mark again! It's always something. I apologize guys in advance! We have a new house and a 2 year old that made the last two seasons rather non existent to me. I really want to get into this as I am pretty good using old equipment. Thanks for all your help. I guess I'll try to focus on updating my equipment to a parallel limb bow on the cheap
