Posted this in another thread but I figured I can get a quicker response in here, in a time crunch.
Its my first year planting anything at all. Have a little shy of an acre on the corner of a corn field. Soil sample came back at 6.8. Had intentions of planting Whitetail Fusion (clover/chicory mix) as well as Pure Attraction (oats/peas/brassicas). The instructions are very vague as to a time frame, they recommend Aug 1st- Sept 15th. I'm located in Southwest Pa. I will be re-tilling tomo so my question here is if anyone can let me know if I should wait to plant? Or just do it tomorrow? Id like to have this plot roll through late season if possible so I don't want to plant too early. Any info and insight would be great.

I'd plant as soon as the ground is ready as long as you are getting a decent amount of rain.

With that combo i would go second week of August. Brassicas should get big enough and oats will still be young enough to be palatable to the deer.

Get the ground tilled up now and wait to seed before the next good rain. I am planting tall tine tubers and pure attraction here in NY next weekend. Would have like to have had it done this week or even last week but work is crazy so I'm running a bit later than I'd like but it's still plenty early enough. You should be fine to plant anytime between now and the next 2 weeks
