I was wondering for you guys who use shooting gloves or tabs, what do you do when it cools off. Do you wear warm gloves??? I generally use the mitten style gloves that fold back when youneed to shoot. I was thinking that if I put these on over my shooting glove then feeling the string wouldnt be a problem. Heck I know we just got out of cold weather and yall northerners probably dont want to talk about cold weather but I would like to know your tactics.

Me too, I really like their liner gloves! I'll wear them under my fold back mitten type glove when it gets down in the single digits! It works pretty smooth, my tab is always on my hand and I just fold back the mitten when needed!

I've hunted In -30 below temps, It fricking sucks and It's almost not even fun- more work then anything at times. I shoot 3 fingers under so I use a 3 finger under tab. I've practiced with thin gloves on with my tab over my gloves but I didn't care for It. I'll wear a mitten on my bow hand but I won't wear nothing on my shooting hand. My deer I got this year, the temps were -16 below. It didn't bother me none but then again my hands are use to this cold weather.

Shoot it never gets that dang cold down here. I was planning on getting one of those "muffs" for this next season, you kow when it gets down in the twenties LOL. I guess when the time comes I will practice w/ a few different things and see what works best.

I will be wearing a glove from early season to late with my tradbows. My late season extreme cold glove is built very warm yet its thin enought that I can shoot good with it... they have a leather exterior on the shooting fingers, + 150 thinsulate. I really liked putting a hand warmer on the backside of my hand inside my gloves and boots ... I did that out at Tims in 0 to minus 45 degree windchill temps..

I've tried It and I suck without a tab. Not to smooth of a release that's for sure.

Lol!! It was -16 below when I shot that deer, probably -20 3 hours later when we took the pictures after the 30 yard track job. I was pumped up though, I didn't even notice It. The wind Is what really kills a person, If there Isn't no wind I'm good to go easily!!

All I wear are a pair of black silk glove liners. They will pull any sweat away from your hand which works well. I also carry one of those 12 hour hand warmers in my pocket and warm my hands up when they get cold. That's a bout it.

The deer in my area are not used to cold weather, if if dips much below 30, you won't see a damn thing. They stay hunkered down just like us!

The cool thing about a wood bow, when you reach out to grap it in 20 degree weather, it doesn't freeze your damn hand off! I just hang mine and keep my hands in my pocket until needed. I don't wear anything on my shooting hand.

    I can't get used to a glove.
I go bare handed & a handwarmer in the pocket if needed.

Ryan, have you ever tried the UA glove liners??? I used to hate wearing any type of glove but these are pretty sweet!

Well I just got to thinking that if I use the mittens that fold back I wont be able to use my 3 finger shooting glove. It would work w/ a tab though. Maybe I need to start shooting w/ a tab. Any major differences from a 3 finger shooting glove??
