I am headed to Canada to hunt some bears in two weeks from 6-12 September. Our season starts the 15th of September here so I will be in a stand most nights in September all the way until something is on the ground! I have a three day weekend every weekend so I only have to take a day or two of vacation to free up large blocks of free time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This year I took off November 1st through the 9th plus any weekend I can get out from the opener till season closes
think I already at least partially answered this on another thread; but here goes as there have been some additions: Sept 12-28 for Idaho elk Oct 10-13 Wisconsin whitetail Oct 17-19 Michigan whitetail Oct 24-27 Wisconsin whitetail Oct 31- Nov 3 Michigan whitetail Nov 7-14 Michigan whitetail possibly into: Nov 15-17 Michigan rifle (staying all the way thru opening rifle weekend if needed) Notice I live in CrimIllinois so all these will be road trips/vacay time. I was going to get Illinois and Indiana tags this year, but I don't have time to hunt during the week and all my weekends booked too quick. Maybe late season if I haven't filled the freezer.
Since my last post if loosing my lease I have come across the opportunity to hunt 33 acres in Elsberry Mo. Three sides of the property are bordered by soy fields the other side has two homes facing it. There is only one small draw, the question is what would be better try the draw which is about center of the property or stay along one if the field edges? It's last minute deal so just looking for opinions. Also there are no ponds or water on property, but one of the fields is about. 3/4 of a mile from the river.
lol, thanks! but you might reconsider that when you see how much these non-resident tags are costing...I have not kept track or else I seriously think I'd have to commit myself to a mental hospital.
