Easy there shooter. From what I could decipher from your post, you sound like you have great kids. Of course there's plenty of good kids out there, I'm just saying as a whole the current generation of kids has their hands out, their pants down, their brains turned off, and their sense of personal responsibility completely missing. I find it sad that I have to specify that.
This should of been a imediate ban. Guys like this is whats wrong with society now days... i have a father who is a police chief cant believe people like you.
My house and I support the Thin Blue Line. Shout out to all the law enforcement personnel that steps up to the plate each and every day, for everyone.
Thanks for the prayer. I'm really close friends with a couple of police officers and I think about them constantly, even in my little town. I can't thank any man or woman in any uniform, enough for keeping me and my family safe.
Watch youtube videos on post 21. At least some people get it. http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php/74398-Black-lives-matter
Just had a guy on the opposite squad of mine shoot a guy with a knife a week ago. Guy appeared out of nowhere and charged at him with knife. Officer fell down the stairs backwards and the guy started at him with the knife....shot. You never know what your next call or shift will be like.
Dangerous job my friend, I give you guys and gals on the job the utmost respect! Some of us Americans still appreciate the job you people do, that others dont want or cant do!! God Bless, and be safe.Hope the Cop wasnt hurt when he fell.
Before you all lynch Coco for stating his opinion can we please acknowledge that yes there are good cops who are do their job well day in and day out. and yes there are some bad cops as well. I for one feel that the militarization of the police is not such a good idea, I don't get the attitude that some police have when somebody films them doing their job.
Sota, you are correct, their is good and bad in all things on this earth. But I know when i`m at work I dont wanna be filmed. Tapes can be edited for bad OR good. It just needs to stop really, and we all know it does. When we were kids and young men and women, we had respect for law enforcement, and usually just all people in general. Those days are gone and it irks me to no end! God Bless brother, we all have opinions, agreed on or not.
A 5 word sentence with no information to back up your opinion is not a opinion it is a bulls eye and we love to take target practice! You do have some odd opinions your self.. at least you back them up with your own twisted logic!
If I was a LEO that did things by the book a body camera would be welcomed because it will honestly show what occurred during interface with the general public. As public employees I do not see what grounds for refusal the police would have when it comes to mandated body camera usage.
Of course I didn't mean 100% of all kids in this generation. Come on...I shouldn't have to specify that.
I wouldn't mind while actively on a call. But what about when not on a call which is the majority of the time for police. The biggest issue I've heard from police is about who has access to the footage. How would any of us like having 100% of what we say and do during our work day publicly available.
I have a great respect for all police officers doing their job to the best of their ability. We are quick to prop up today's military personnel who are serving overseas, but often forget about those serving right here at home; firefighters, paramedics, teachers, and especially police officers. Now, I think the BLM movement (the actual organization) is catching flack for what some bad apples are doing while using the BLM name. That's unfortunate, because BLM is working within the system to make some much needed changes happen such as police body cameras, which protect not only the suspects, but also the police officers who are wearing them. No person representing BLM has promoted any sort of violence. And while I think the current administration could certainly do more, placing the blame squarely on their shoulders is a bit naive and ridiculous. It's sort of like blaming a gun for a shooting, which I'm sure most people would agree is ridiculous.
