Do you only hunt the rut then Sota? whats your reasoning behind that? What if you have a good buck patterned in the early season? Enough questions?
I hunt small land so pressure is key, also my land tends to hold does rather than bucks. Over the years I have figured out the best odds for success. Plus I get a little pissy if I sit in a tree for 3 hours and only see does.
My season is 365 days a year. I have 3 properties. One is a 120 acre wooded plot between 3 rich neighborhoods. That I have permission on 45 acre's of it. I also have a 231 acre farm (lease) and an 85 acre farm (family friends). So between the 3 I am putting out corn in the feeders, pulling cards, putting up stands and cutting lanes etc. I actually rest during the season with all the time in stand. I work more in off season than I do during the season for sure. Just pulled a card the other day. (59 days until opening day)

SE PA - Sept. 16th Delaware - Sept. 1st New Jersey - Sept. 9th Can't wait, although it's been too hot early the past few years.
October 1st in Indiana. I can't say that I would want it much earlier because it was still in the 80s some days last year. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
