Sarcasm is not intentional or profitable...if perceived it would be a flaw. Either mine or the reader.
Anytime in Nov is a great time to be in the stand... Myself and most of the guys I know still haven't seen the bruisers running does like we normally would have by this time so I'd get out if you can!
When the last doe is bred pretty much. Could be December or could be February. But for all intents and purposes the "hunting rut" will end sometime next month after the second estrous cycle of unbred does. The late comers in Jan/Feb are going to be so few that its likely not to be noticed at all. November is so good due to the number of does coming into their first cycle and the bucks having all of their energy and aggression.
Not to sound negative or put the op down, but are you really ready to hunt deer, make a good ethical shot. I have seen you posting the last few days asking a lot of beginner questions. About arrows you just bought, about changing rests, hunting public ground, etc etc... Just curious how long you have had your bow and are really up to speed with it. You are doing the right thing by asking questions, so don't by any means take this the wrong way. But I have to ask are you truly ready to take a shot at a deer and can feel confident you will make a good shot?
I got mine last week while it was running to my tinks i had set out but my cousin has seen like 10 does n the last week and no bucks chasing them til like now so its all differnet in differnet places
The reason I am posting is a lot of questions is beacuse its better to be safe than sorry I got my bow JULY 9 2013 so the summer we just passed I am a great shot out to 30 yards so I wont take a deer any furhter than that. But if their is anything i can do to get better like changing rests for more accuracy then Im going to do it. Thats why i am asking all these questions.
Ok, that's good, like I said wasn't saying that to put you down or anything. It is good to ask questions, just seemed like a lot to ask about in the middle of deer season. Little tip, if you are good with your bow out to 30 yds as it is, don't change anything until after season. Stick with what you have been shooting with since you got the bow. Upgrade after the season.
