I sometimes notice that bucks and does may bed in slightly different areas. But I see them feeding in the same fields all the time.
I'm lucky to live in an area that has an antlerless only season 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after regular archery. During that time I will try to whack some does in areas that I'm fairly sure bucks are not frequenting (early season) or don't really care if I mess things up. After that I try to target bucks in the hopes of filling that tag. Oddly enough, one of my most productive times for shooting a buck is between October10-October 19. Most consider this time the "lull" and either do not hunt or go after some does at this time. I'm wierd like that.
