When do you start putting out trail cameras?

    I use mine year round, but on the off season I'm also hunting hogs. Gotta love the Lonestar state ;-)

    About half of them stay out year round. Depends on where you have them set up. Also run them for turkeys, so I really want them out during that early spring.

    I don't run mine year around because I don't want to put the extra wear & tear on them if I don't have to. I also don't want to buy batteries for all of them year-round.

    I enjoy seeing what people do with them that use them year-round but don't enjoy using them all year myself.

    Starting to put out a few cameras. By late August will have about 8 to 10 running.

    Hang them as soon as I know what i draw and what unit. Then take them down after season.

    Mid to early April. The moultrees seem to be good on batteries. Then take down when I start hunting that spot in October
