I leave mine up all year and just check the straps and shooting lanes in August.

I would say if you have a set there by mid-August you will be fine :)

I would go ahead and hang them as soon as you can. Especially if you are going to cut much for shooting lanes.

Now will be fine too. I wait until the woods are all grown up so I can trim shooting lanes. They should be grown up good by now you may have to tweek your lanes later if some regrowth comes into the lanes.

I have three up since last week and plan on three more by mid to late July. I will take my cusions first time to them and leave them till end of season. As stated above by gutone4me, check your straps when its time to hunt and you will be good.

I hang my stand about 1-2 minutes before I am set and ready to hunt.

I try to hang them before the corn and beans start to grow so i can get to the spots but usually leave them up all year round and i might just move them if i c a spot better than before

If I have spotted an area where I want to hang a new set while I was hunting the year before. I will go in in the spring and hand my set then I will keep the lanes cleared all summer until about september our season starts october 1st here.

For my hang ons that are in perennial spots, it usually depends on what I have going on outside of hunting that year. In a perfect year, I'll have them hung in late May early June. This year, they all lay in the basement of my unfinished new house. MGH_PA is supposed to help me finish it, but I haven't seen him yet.

I hang mine the day I plan to hunt most usually. However, I usually have one I'll set during the season to use a backup stand for a friend.
