Just curious what peoples thoughts are on this subject, just something I got to thinking about tonight while hunting.
...define "light breeze"... no seriously, I have seen more deer when there is no noticable breeze. I'm not sure if it's coincidence or not...
They are going to move regardless. Only time wind effects deer movement is when it is blowing to hard
I would not hunt one of my better stands if there was no wind...too easy to get busted with nothing blowing my scent away. I like a good 5-10 mph wind.
I saw the biggest buck of my life last year during 25-30 mph winds. Call me crazy for going out but its a day I'll never forget. Let him walk by at 30 yards (I needed a EAB doe).
