Whats your thoughts?

Found this picture in one of the classrooms at work today. Find it very disturbing and disgusting that someone is portraying Obama along side arguably two truly great Americans in Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks.

I think that this is almost as dumb as giving him a nobel peace pride. I think he has done nothing to deserve anything more then an "attaboy".

 

I dont think he has done anything great enough or made a big enough positive impact on things to be compared to the other two in the picture.

 

Not really comparing him to them but just portraying him in the same picture with them I find very disgusting.

Right. I feel that they are on a whole different level than Obama

 

I dont think that obama should be put in any other level then any other president good or bad.

 

If you can't see the significance of him being the first black president, then I don't know what to tell you...

I see that and its an accomplishment for sure none the less. But then again i cant really say much about Obama since i dont know as much about him unlike the other 2 were we learned about them every year in school.

 

^THIS. It's just a motivational poster for black people. He's a terrible president but the idea is there was a time you had to sit at the back of the bus nevermind get the chance to be a bad president. lol Regardless of achievements or lack there of as a president, it is a huge achievement for equality in America.

 

Evidently a legend in his own mind.

I can see it both ways. If it incourages our black youth to believe in themselves than great if your saying Obama changed America like the other two then id say that has yet to be decided.
