My new goal is to take a buck at 60 yards and then celebrate with some room temperature Busch light... :lmao2:

I rarely drink but when I do its always a nice Augustiner Edelstoff. I don't hate America but I definitely do not care for most of it's mainstream beer, unless I just slayed a big buck at 60+ yards, then it's totally Busch Light time..

I've got a couple of goals. Goal 1, shoot a mature buck. Goal 2, get a kill on video. Both goals with perfect shots.

I've been struggling with target panic and been really working on it to nip it in the butt. Missed the biggest buck I've ever shot at last season at 5 yards.

Goal is to get my grandfather a deer. Mobility issues have hindered this ever since I've been alive. So this year I'm building a tower blind on a trailer to help that. This is the year!

My first priority for this year is to try to get both of my daughters deer on the youth hunt. After that, I just want to fill the freezer between MA & NY and hopefully connect on a mature buck along the way.

    1) Fill my elk tag in Alberta with a bow. This would make go 2 for 2 on elk hunts with the added challenge of the archery kill.
    2) Help my oldest son get his first deer
    3) Achieve my first public land archery kill; doe or buck
    4) Hunt my first full season with a hang and hunt set and leave the season enjoying it. I have only hunted out a climber for a full season. Got a hang and hunt for Christmas last year, hunted a couple of times and liked it. Got to get more comfortable and faster with the set up process.

Bonus goal: get my middle son his first deer. He isn't into hunting as much as his older brother yet.

I'm right there with you. I think this is my fourth season without punching an archery tag.

I swear it seemed every move I made last year was the wrong one. I just hope to get some meat this year. I focused on a particular buck last year and I think the pressure took some of the fun out. Goal 1 is appreciate what I love about my pursuit more. Know what I mean? Goal 2 is put some meat on the table. Hopefully one leads to another.

Wow... so far I have nothing to drool over on camera. Mostly bc I'm a lazy turd on my cams. Good looking deer!
