Muzzy's are great! Economical, tough as nails, and they just flat out kill deer. No need to switch, they are a quality proven broad head.
DRT's. I shot a cpl toxics last year and had good luck with them. Still carry one in my quiver. I ha e four different heads in my quiver. DRT, Rage Hypodermic, Rage 3 blade, and toxic Sent from my SCH-I535
I also shoot the 100gr Mx-3. Never had a problem with penetration or arrow flight with them. Just plain awesome.
I use both of these heads too. Used the strikers a while and got the itch for a mech this year so I got some t3's. Shot a doe Friday and it made 2 impressive holes. I just use whichever I feel like that day since they hit the same.
ramcat 100 grain. QAD exidous. both work exteremely well and fly just like field points. AMAZING blood trails with the ramcats though. it has become my new broadhead of choice.
I am shooting Slick Trick Magnums and I love them they shoot the same as my field points. My buddy shot toxics last year and had terrible luck and switched back to Rage's mid season.
I was shooting the muzzy 100gr 3 blade. This season i decided to try killzones since I've heard so much good about them.
I've alternated between the Slick Trick Magnums and the G5 Strikers, both in 125 grain, for the last 5 or 6 years. Both are great. It was NAP Thunderhead 125's for 15 years prior to the those two.
I checked out Solid broad broadheads. Im really interested in the Turkey D-cap. Ever tried them before? I saw the video and it really puts them down quick and clean. Impressive.
Admittedly I'm a broadhead floozie; I'm always messing around with the next hot design. The G5 Strikers fly awesome and are razor sharp, but I was surprised to see that Striker vs. cow elk rib = striker blade bent all to hell. Deflected an otherwise perfect heart shot at a sharp angle into her gut, leaving no exit wound. We recovered her but very little blood w/ no exit hole. Don't think it would have happened w/ a Montec (or Hellrazor, but I'm generally not an NAP fan)
