In my neck of the wood we drink alot of Bud Light, Busch Light, Budweiser and Natty. My favorite party beer would have to be Landshark Lager though brewed by Margaritaville.

Nah, in all seriousness, if I am looking to tie one on I head for the sweet necture of the gods, vodka. Specifcally, vodka and some citrusy energy drink. Other than that, I really enjoy a nice Keystone Light around a campfire or on a boat.

Coors light in long necks or poured slowly, and let sit for 5 minutes in a frozen ice cup  I was never a mixed drink guy, but an occasional long island tea is OK. My Dad gave me a samual adams beer awhile back, it was freakin delishious, but i cant remember what one it was  to many flavors

Don't you guys get tested for things like the bud? :busted:

As far as my drinks... It used to be yack and Choke (5/6 Jack, 1/6 coke :d ) THat was back in the Marine days. But, after a few "incidents" I quit drinking hard alcohol. It was that, and countless gallons of beer, 211, Natty Ice, Mickeys, and pretty much anything cheap. We (barracks roommate, and myself) used to make weekly trips to Costco to get 2 1.75's of Jack. We had issues. lol.

Now its just beer, and wine.

Beer: Budweiser, RED STRIPE, and almost all of the IPA micro brews.

There once was this micro brewery close to where we were based at in Bridgeport, CA. That place still has my heart, and part of my liver. THey make the most beautiful brew known as Lobotomy Bock. I just can't find it anywhere, and it doesn't look like I ever will.

Wine: Duplin Winery (North Carolina) has got my number one spot. They make some very crisp, clean, perfect wines.

Champagne: I could drink myself stupid with that stuff.

I drank WAAAYYYYY too much in my younger years. It caused me some big problems. I don't touch the stuff now. I haven't had a drink in almost 13 years and the world is a better place for it.

Yeah, not their best work. Hard to beat the Boston Lager IMO. Bud's American Ale is a pretty decent brew, as is Shalfly's. I should have added those in my first post.:d

I really love all things whisky. Scotch, Bourbon, Canadian, etc.......I really like it all. I don't drink much (anymore) but I usually have a bottle of Makers Mark or Crown sitting around. Nothing like a double Crown on the rocks in front of the camp fire at camp after a long day in the woods.

you are dead to me..... :d

i tried it, twice to be fair, bought 2 - 6 pks about a month apart... a good effort for a huge brewery like AB, seriously, I'd give it about a C+ grade... not bad, but not something i'd reach for either... but for the same $$ i can find about 40 other similar styled Ales that have twice the flavor and character... or I can brew a batch of my own for less than the price of 3 - 6ers and have something that has about 25-30 of those other ones covered in all aspects and have about 2.5 cases on hand...

beer is not just a hobby, its a way of life...

The micro brew market is limited here. This is AB country, and fairly rural. We are still warming up to technology, like phones w/o a cord or unleaded gas. :D

I have to agree, every brew in that box is amazing. Its hard to pick, but I would say that the Cream Stout may be the best Sam Adams beer I have had, it is right up there with Octoberfest.

The best beer I've ever had was Alaskan Amber Ale. Good stuff! Since I can't get it around here I usually drink New Castle, Heineken, or my new favorite Rolling Rock.

When it comes to hard stuff I prefer Vodka. Depending on how rich I'm feeling I'll either drink Kettle or Absolut. Mix it with whatever's handy - Gatorade, Lemonada, 7Up, Sprite, Squirt, whatever. :D

I have never been much of a Vodka fan, really don't like Absolut (The vanilla isn't bad mixed with Vanilla Coke), but I really do enjoy Ciroc.

After Satuday night in Lansing, nothing. My head still feels like :bash:

But, if I were to have another beer, it would be some flavor of Leinenkugel's. Hometown brew!

Dude.. no offense.. but some of you who swear by an alcoholic drink with fruit flavoring? I'd have to think twice about sleeping in a cabin with.

Give me a beer.. ice cold.. and none of that lite BS either.

A Sam Adams.. DosXX.. Sierra Nevada.. Fat tire.. Chicago Blonde.. ETC.. next to a venison steak and some fresh corn off the cob.. GOOD STUFF!
