There are many different brands of deer attractant on the market. Most of us have tested many brands to see which works the best. I've found that corn works very well where I live. It's easy to get, cheap, and lasts for awhile. Whats your favorite deer atrractant?

Baiting during the hunting season here in Iowa is a no-no. However, during the spring and summer I like a small pile of corn to help get photos for my trail cam. It works well for determing doe to buck ratio's or doe to fawns, or simply to give ya an idea of the size of the bucks in that area. Like what was said already, corn is cheap and easy to get, however be prepared for some Coons to get their picture taken as well.

i've been using small amounts of corn, not as an attractant though my cams are placed on trails it just keeps them a few secs for a better photo.
if i used anything with a lot of scent the bears would be there in hours. i used c'mere deer last fall to see how it works and was not impressed if sprinkled on apples they would eat it but if placed beside it they left it alone, i had the same results with jelly type apple attractant.
i have had good luck with oats corn and mallossas mixture but this time of year the bears will find it.
i have never tried a mineral lick but it's on my to do list.
i have also found salt licks to be a waste of time.
