I am curious to see what you guys think would be your dream hunt. I think mine would be Antelope on the plains of Wyoming or moose in Alaska. Obviously its different for everybody so whats yours?
spott and stalk colorado archery elk hunt thats what i plan on doing in a few years just dont have the money right now
I been slowing but surely checking off my bucket list trying to fit in a new hunt every year....But my DREAM hunt is anything sheep, sheep and more sheep..... Been putting in for tags for the last 10 years.......god only knows when I draw.
Mine would be a saskatchewan rut whitetail hunt. A close second and third would be Elk hunt in colorodo and iowa bowhunt.
I have 2. One is colorado elk hunt but other is Illinois Whitetail hunt on my grandpa's farm. not only would it be awesome but the fact its my grandpa's farm would make it even better.
Calling in bull elk in the mountains just like i do here at home with gobblers. That would be my dream.
Preferably a whitetail, but realistically it's any hunt on my own land. I wish I was a little smarter in my younger years, I should have been pursuing this 20 years ago. But that would be my ultimate hunt.
Any of the four sheep with my bow. I say that is my dream hunt because it is one of the only hunts I can't see myself doing within in the next 10 years. Definitely possible, but I'm heavily relying on my luck to draw.
hasnt changed since I was young, have done it every year for 26 years and still dream about it in the off-season........elk hunting in the Rocky mountains. Mainly NM but AZ, Colorado, Wyoming etc
Caribou with my longbow in Alaska is first on my list. Second is a trophy elk with the longbow in New Mexico.
Chasing Elk and Mule Deer in the mountains is a blast, but a Red Stag will probably always be my dream hunt.
For me it has to be chasing after Rocky Mountain Elk with my bow. Gonna get there someday. Hopefully sooner than later. I also dream of owning a nice chunk of land in Alaska to live and hunt on someday. Preferably with a stream for salmon fishing aswell.
