Well said. Besides, you can't possible expect this many guys/gals to agree on everything. The difference is how most members handle themselves around here.

It just confirms that testosterone levels are rising around the nation as we prepare to hit the woods.

I was mostly joking and I like a good debate too.

But you have to admit...there are certain topics which have been debated over....and over...and over...you get the idea.

Lol....AT is easy going compared to some of the guys that like to persnally attack others here. I have decided to just go with the passage in the Bible:
Matthew 7:6 "Never give what is holy to dogs or throw your pearls before pigs. Otherwise, they will trample them with their feet and then turn around and attack you."

I guess some people are much more short fused then others on here, I'm one of them. For Instance, these baiting threads. Every time you bring up bear Into the conversation of baiting your stirring the pot, you know It too. I've explained to you a million fricking times that In some area's of the country It's your only chance at getting a bear. I'm sick of explaining It, really really sick of It!!!!

There's no need what so ever to be comparing the 2, there 2 totally different animals. I've said It many times, I could care less If people bait when deer hunting. There's no double standard here, none!!!!!

I agree 100% with the legality of baiting bears, it is the only way to bear hunt in MN or Canada. You could never spot and stalk a bear in the thick pines of the woods I have bear hunted in on 8 different hunts. You have to see a bear before you could stalk one, and yoiu aren't going to see a bear up there in the woods. Bears have been going to dumps for 100's of years and close feeding with them has not led to disease issues. Hooved animals have issues with close proximity of feeding correlated with disease though.

A good debate every now and then is healthy for a forum. I also believe it has something to do with the “cabin fever” syndrome. It has been almost a year since the last arrow was flung at a good deer and it is so close now to being time again to sit in the woods waiting on the deer once more.
Some of us are a little edgy in anticipation of feeling the cool crisp morning air and hearing the unmistakable sounds of a deer as it approaches from behind just out of sight. Before long, everyone on here will be buzzing of close encounters and fond memories of hunts and will forget all about the disagreements. Here in Georgia we only have 29 more days left before being able to sit in the stand and hear the sounds of the woods that lull us to sleep until hearing and seeing that fat doe feeding on the acorns in the flats.
Good luck to all this fall and start counting the days down. Season is upon us.

Oh, and these yin yangs that go back and look for every post you have ever made so they can quote you are lacking something in their shorts imo. This one guy I know is infamous for it. Gives me the creeps. Makes you wonder if you would go to his house, if you would find pics of his idolized forum members ,with their vast archery kills all over his wall. Creepy to say the least. Who sits there and hinges on every word that someone typed months or maybe years ago, and then goes and digs up crap, often on another forum even, and says,"Hey, I am infantuated about you so much, here is a quote you did in 2001?. LMAO...twisted I say.

What I said Jeff was for people to get to know the animal their hunting, just baiting them won't do you a bit of good. Be It bear, deer, elk or whatever. What the hell Is wrong In saying that? You know how many bear hunters I know that suck at bear hunting? I pile of them!! Wanna know why, they don't know a thing about the animal there hunting period!! All they do Is throw out some junk and hope It works. There's a pile of deer hunters the same exact way. By the looks of things more and more states are going to be banning baiting for deer, what are these deer hunters going to do when baiting Is banned In their state or area? This Is far from a double standard but think what ya want I guess. The bottom line Is get to know the animal your hunting to the best of your knowledge whether your baiting or not.
