I'm a NASCAR guy, but the driver I root for isn't Dale Jr, but...........What's up with that guy this year? It's like he's a rookie or something.....I can't believe how many times he's overshot his pit.....bad decisions on the track......I just don't get it. He's a great driver, I just wonder what's going on with that....Oh well, random thought published. Peace out.

I'd still be surprised if he ever wins a championship....

It seems like he's been struggling for several years.

You got to be kidding me. He sucks bigtime. Never has shown he's got what it takes. He has the same equipment Tony Stewart and his 1st year start up team has with Hendrick's backing and look at the difference. Just why is that. Talent, that's why.

I think Jr. is a cool cat but his head needs to be pulled out of his arse. He needs to focus less on sponsorships and being a rock star and more on racing a car. The guy has decent talent(I stress decent) but is cracking under pressure. There have been some great drivers come up since he did and he hasn't raised his game while they have. He needs to start driving like he's dying instead of pussy footin around the track.

Like Kyle said, I don't know why the sports most popular driver doesn't win more, maybe he's not that good.

I think Jr got a lot of sympathy fans..and rightly so. I pull for the guy, but realistically he's an average driver.

It's like not being a Cubs fan but wanting to see them win..at least once in while!

Shouldn't surprise you Jeff..My 2 favorites are Tony Stewart and Kyle Bush. :hater:

I too don't follow Nascar that much anymore.. used to years ago since my pa was a big fan.

I always liked those good ole days so much more.. remember Kulwicki.. Elliott.. Gant.. Good ole southerners..

These new guys are too "Hollywood" for my liking.. and Jr. to me is not much without his fathers name.. and he was a heck of a driver (even though I never liked him).

The only Jr. I ever liked was Davey Allison.. he was the only Jr. worth his pa's name in my opinion.:d

No sir, you certainly don't. I'm not fond of it either. But that's another thread for another day.

I was a Dale Sr. fan when he was around, but I'm not a Dale Jr. fan at all.

    Now, I'm a Harvick guy.

When was he ever good? He won a few races (mostly restricter plate), but i wouldn't place him any better then middle of the pack. No way he compares to Johnson/Gordon/Edwards/Busch.
